Elin Jones MS and Ben Lake MP are pleased to announce that they are opening a new pop-up office in Cardigan. The hope is that a regular presence in the town will make it easier for constituents to meet face-to-face once again.
A member of staff will be in the pop-up office at Cardigan Castle every Monday. Appointments with Ben or Elin, or with staff will also be possible so that residents can discuss their concerns.
Elin Jones MS said: ‘As your Member of Senedd, I represent constituents from all over the county, helping them with issues of all types. Many constituents see me for support with problems ranging from road safety concerns in their area, to accessing health services, and trouble receiving services. It’s great that Ben and I are able to work so closely on behalf of Ceredigion residents, and having the pop-up office in Cardigan will make it even easier for constituents in the south of the county to meet with us and our staff.’
As Ben Lake MP explained: ‘Cardigan is an important and central point in Ceredigion and I’m glad we can open a pop-up office in the town that will enable residents in the south of Ceredigion to call-in and get help as they need it. With the horrific challenges businesses and families will face over the next few months, it’s important that constituents can quickly access their elected members and having a presence in Cardigan will guarantee this.’
