Caryl Roberts: Trefeurig

Caryl_Roberts.png

Background

Caryl has lived in Trefeurig for ten years. She has a son in Penrhyn-coch School, a stepson in Penweddig and twin girls at Gogerddan nursery.

A law graduate, Caryl works for the Farmers' Union of Wales in Gogerddan, providing help and services for members.

She is busy in the community - a 'doer' who sees a problem and gets to work. During Covid she set up a walking group to bring new parents together.

Why vote for Caryl?

"I’m passionate about making sure that the Council works for us and is held accountable.

I believe I have something to offer. The Council needs fresh ideas, and should fully reflect all sections of our community. I can bring energy and a new perspective.

If elected, I would be available and approachable - an advocate for local residents - and would issue a regular newsletter to keep people in touch."
