Why vote for Catherine?
"The local elections will be held on 5 May and a new electoral ward has been confirmed for this area which includes Tregaron, Pontrhydfendigaid and Ffair-Rhos.
My roots are deeply embedded in Tregaron and the Pontrhydfendigaid and Ystrad Fflur area and I have represented Tregaron ward on Ceredigion County Council since 2004.
In facing Covid over the last two years, we have all realised the importance of the local area, our community and its strength. I set up a network during the pandemic to provide contact for anyone in need of support. This operated across the ward in conjunction with the Town Council, Bwlchgwynt Chapel, St. Caron Church and the Fire Brigade Station and a host of local volunteers.
I am keen to continue the important work of being an active advocate and a strong, honest and enthusiastic voice for the residents of Tregaron and Ystrad Fflur ward for the coming 5 years."
