OUR FUTURE: Local economy, rural communities and young people

Economi_leol_a_phobl_ifanc.png

Over the past 10 years, there's been a significant outward migration of young people from Ceredigion. Why do so many young people decide to leave the county? Is it due to the lack of job opportunities, the lack of affordable housing or are there other reasons that prevent young people from staying?

Join Elin Jones, Ben Lake MP, Ffion Storer Jones (Rural Youth Project) and Caleb Rees (Former Welsh Youth Parliament Member for Ceredigion) in a virtual session to discuss the future of our local economy and rural communities from the perspective of the younger generation.

Date: Wednesday, 14 April 2021

Time: 7.00pm

The event will be held through the medium of Welsh and simultaneous translation will be available.
