Why vote for Endaf?

"I have enjoyed representing the residents of the Rheidol ward since being elected in 2017 and working for you. I have particularly enjoyed having the opportunity to help you and lending an ear to listen. Representing you is a privilege and an honour, and I believe that I have come to know many of you. I believe that I have achieved a lot. Nevertheless, there is still much to do, and I would like to have the opportunity to continue with this work.

I feel that the current County Council does not give proper consideration to planning issues in the ward and Aberystwyth more widely. Any developments in the ward must benefit the local people. If I am elected, I will continue to represent the views of the local residents.

I therefore ask for your vote on May 5th, to have a representative who will stand up for everyone in the Aberystwyth Rheidol ward."

Endaf's priorities

  • Work to improve the litter situation
  • Suitable parking for local residents
  • Securing further traffic calming measures in Trefechan
  • Tackle anti-social behaviour
  • Work to increase the importance of the upper part of the High Street to Aberystwyth
  • Working to address poverty and related problems in the ward
  • Work to improve the mobility of scooter and wheelchair users within the ward

Endaf's previous achievements in the ward

  • Securing the refurbishment of Pont yr Odyn
  • Securing double yellow lines at the entrance to the Marina (a campaign which took 4 years to achieve)
  • Securing new signage to the Harbour
  • Increase the number of litter bins on ward streets
  • Securing double yellow lines to improve ward road safety
  • Representing residents when controversial applications are discussed by the Council (I ask residents for their views before the Council meeting)
  • Work to improve the problem with 'campervans' near the Harbour
