Why vote for Gethin?
"It has been an honour and a privilege to serve you as your elected County Councillor for the last 5 years. I think it is really important for village communities to be supported and preserved, consequently, I also sit on the Community Council, Village Hall Committee and am a school Governor. I will always fight for what is right in representing the people of our ward. I am an old-fashioned, hands-on Councillor and believe in solving urgent problems immediately i.e. I have cleared drains and filled sandbags for older people to help prevent flooding. I also pick up litter every morning when I walk my dog, Mabel."
Gethin's priorities
"I will continue to fight for affordable homes in the ward to enable our young people to live in their own communities. I have represented constituents regarding their concerns about second homes and holiday homes and the impact of this on our close-knit communities - this has now become a Plaid Cymru policy priority. I am currently fighting to preserve public transport routes currently used by primary school children to get to school. I will continue to lobby the County Council to preserve and develop the resources and infrastructure in our communities, and for the safety of our children, I will fully support the implementation of a 20mph limit in the residential areas of the ward."
