On 7 April, Ben Lake took on his second walking challenge of the year. Ben joined a large group of Ceredigion YFC members for their sponsored walk along the county's coastal path. With one group of walkers starting from Cardigan and the other group starting from Ynyslas at the break of dawn, both groups finished their challenge in Aberaeron Rugby Club as the sun was setting - a total of 60 miles.
Ben joined the walkers in Aberystwyth and walked a total of 18 miles to Aberaeron. Even though the weather and the conditions under foot were challenging, Ben enjoyed the challenge:
"It was an honour to take part in the fantastic challenge with my fellow YFC members, and to be able to raise money to a very deseverd cause - Bronglais Hospital Chemotherapy Unity. Congratulations to every single member who took part and thank you very much to Ceredigion YFC for organising such an event and for all their fundraising efforts throughout the year. "
