Why vote for Wyn?
"I want to to stand again for Plaid Cymru for election to Ceredigion County Council in May 2022. I was elected in 2017 and want to continue as County Councillor for the Llandyfrïog ward.
The work of being a Councillor has changed significantly over the last two years as a result of the pandemic. It has been a very challenging time for our services such as care, health, schools and waste. Ceredigion residents must be commended for adhering to the restrictions and keeping Covid levels amongst the lowest in Wales.
We have seen a new way of working in our communities, with working online from home now a familiar thing. Keeping our young people in our society has become a huge problem as house prices have risen significantly. It has also been a challenging time for businesses and the economy, following lockdown, as well as Brexit."
Wyn's priorities
- Helping communities to move forward after a difficult three years during lockdown.
- Helping local young people get jobs and housing in their indigenous villages.
- Helping the elderly who have self-isolated for long periods.
- Improving the broadband service in our communities as many are working from home.
- Continue to stop cars driving at speed through our villages.
- Encouraging our communities to re-cycle their waste and prevent fly-tipping.
