Ceredigion County Councilors - Plaid Cymru
In May 2022 and for the first time ever, Plaid Cymru won the majority of seats on Ceredigion County Council.
The Plaid Cymru Group hopes to achieve a lot during this administration, in extremely challenging times. Despite all the cuts from the treasury in Westminster, which have a detrimental effect on local government here in Ceredigion, strengthening the local economy is still a priority. Plaid Cymru Ceredigion wants to support the businesses that already exist here and attract new businesses to Ceredigion ensuring good employment that pays well. Through this, our communities will be strengthened and make Ceredigion a great place to live and raise a family, which in turn will help the Council to maintain quality services and protect the Welsh language in this beautiful, rural county.
