Supporting a protest to save Lampeter campus
A number of protesters gathered on the steps of the Senedd with Elin Jones MS and Cefin Campbell MS, to call on the Welsh Government to work with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (PCDDS) to safeguard the future of their Lampeter campus.
Ceredigion County Council Demands Devolution of Crown Estate to Wales
Yesterday (12 December), Plaid Cymru-led Ceredigion Council backed a motion to devolve the Crown Estate ‘to support the social needs of the Welsh people’ as a ‘matter of urgency’.
The motion, proposed by Plaid Cymru’s Catrin M S Davies, was passed unopposed and called on the Leader to press the First Minister of Wales to demand immediate action from the UK Prime Minister to transfer control of the Crown Estate to Wales.
Plaid Cymru Councillors donate to Ceredigion Food Banks
This week, as they have done in previous years, all Ceredigion Plaid Cymru councillors donated to a very worthy cause, the county's food banks. Cheques were presented in Penparcau, Aberaeron, Lampeter, Cardigan and Llandysul giving them £800 each to support the amazing work of the Ceredigion food banks.
